Floods are proving more and more devastating for New York as heavy pour along with thunderstorm seem to be not decreasing anytime soon. The night of September 1witnessed a flash flood emergency issued for the city of New York. Almost 50 people have succumbed to the devastations of the raging flood.
New York has been facing continuous flood calamity since July of this year. The summer went really tough for New York as flood kept drowning the city and it subways. The city with a population of almost 8 million people is going to getting ready to face yet another watery event as the flash flood warning has been charged. However, the rain is predicted to be not as severe as it was at the beginning of this month or in July but flash warning make it clear that it is again going to be bad enough. The moisture in the air is not making it any easier for the residents as well.
While the last few months have seen New York suffering enough due to rain and flood, it is likely that September would also be an exception and with this flash flood warning, New York has to stay prepared for the worst.
